Camp Lawrence is owned and operated by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Gary, Indiana. The camp facility is host to many retreats, parish picnics, meetings, family reunions and more. John Thorstad is the manager of the camp. He and his wife (Lauara) and two children (Eric and Evan) live on the premises.
